Fiftieeth Anniversary of Sandro Zara’s Tabarro

A special exhibition dedicated to fifty years of the tabarro, a garment whose history has been deeply rooted in the Venetian territory as well as throughout the Po Valley. 

In the halls of Villa Morosini – XXV Aprile, from November 2 to 10, 2024, the exhibition titled The Tabarro. Craftsmanship from Past to Present was held, celebrating the Fiftieth Anniversary of Sandro Zara’s Tabarro. The event honored not only the rich tradition of this historic garment and the craftsmanship of the sartori who have mastered its creation, but also the remarkable journey of Sandro Zara, who fifty years ago revived the tabarro with passion and artisanal excellence—bringing it into the present and sharing it with the world.
