Postiglione Velour Tessuto Loropiana Black
This model takes its name from the profession of the postilion, the coachman who drove the mail coach and diligences. The garment in question consists of a sleeveless central body and a small cloak that replaces sleeves. With this garment, the postilion was well covered, yet at the same time free in movement to control the horses in a two or four-horse team. The model is present in museums dedicated to the history of carriages.
